This week task is to get the videos we have and put it together, we know transition in between is important to make both of the clip have a smooth change, I personally love cross dissolve as my transition because I feel that it is the best looking transition as many others are too fancy. So an easy task to put 2 video in a sequence, apply a transition between both of them. I found a problem that mostly happened to FCP which is sometimes the video couldn't apply a transition on it, basically sometime the video is too short to put a transition and you will need to play around with the length of the clip to fit in a transition, if not work all you can do is make a manual transition by adjust a opacity of the video, and put in timeline make it from 100% to 0% and another clip make it from 0% to 100%, it is a nice dip to black transition as well.
This is a easy tutorial for transition,
Just an updates for my videos hunting, I have look over youtube but couldn't find a way to look for videos with creative commons, after that I found out the way to do it. First step: Log in your account in youtube
Second step: Click on your account and click on videos
Third step: Click on video editor and you will find a cc logo there
Thats the easiest way to begin your search for cc materials. I showed it this way in class as well so students would easy to find the material they wanted.
